Attached is a certified letter from the Northport Police Department confirming C.R. completed 25
hours of ride-a-long, working the evening shift, from May 23-27.
He will continue an evening shift (5:30-10 pm) throughout the summer/indefinitely.
C.R. has enrolled and started in The Police Athletic League, a juvenile crime prevention program
designed to place police officers and at-risk youth together in a positive environment through
structured programs such as athletics, educational activities and cultural trips. PAL provides children
with the opportunity to participate in organized activities promoting self-esteem, drug awareness,
community clean-up and mentoring. His hours will consist of 10 am-noon M-F going forward. He will
complete a minimum of 20 hours in the PAL.

All reports from inpatient treatment staff have been extremely positive. L. J. is
working well in the program and being very compliant.
{SCIIFi6 FOftWARE:
Once his inpatient treatment is completed, L.J. will continue with daily intensive
outpatient therapy with an addiction specialist/counselor.
He also will complete monthly, one-hour video appointments with a mental health
consultant, as needed.
L.J. will meet twice a week with Sergeant Tommy Rester, TPD, on gun safety/gun
ownership education.
t.J. will meet once a week through the summer, or as needed, with LCSW for
counseling.
lncluded in this will be weekly urinalysis.
L.J. also will complete 20+ hours of community service with the Northport Police
Department and The Police Athletic League (PAL) juvenile crime prevention program.
