Wrong. Taking the helmet off during the play is stated as a dead ball foul, regardless of when it occurs. If your going to give your opinion on something, at least know what you're talking about...

Which taking the helmet off is a personal foul, a dead ball penalty. SO it would be assessed after possession change since it was 4th down. Maybe blame lame for not kicking on 3rd down. I have never even related this to basketball. Personal fouls have always been a dead ball penalty in FOOTBALL.

What part of that don't they get? Even if it was a penalty it was a live ball penalty treated as a dead ball penalty because there was no time on the clock. Even past that we gained possession.

So, even if you want to take it to the nth degree it's still Alabama ball, Alabama win, period.

I don't know one scenario they could create, within reality, that would have them getting another kick.
