This site has been "Profilin' the Tide" for the last two months - I've been skimming over these for probably a month now. I always appreciate another fan doing this much research/writing about an opponent - there are no telling how many hours of work he has in this so far. The first thing that comes to my mind after skimming over these the last few weeks -- after all his research, does he just say WOW to what CNS has done since his arrival in Tuscaloosa - I know he probably gets tired of hearing about Bama on ESPN or whatever, but after this much research you have to be amazed at the talent that has been stockpiled...
I've listed the pages by links below to make it a little easier on folks - this is a ton of reading, be warned.
Profilin' the Tide: Defensive Backs
Profilin' the Tide: Linebackers
Profilin' the Tide: Defensive Line
Profilin' the Tide: The Defense
Profilin' the Tide: Quarterbacks
Profilin' the Tide: Wide Receivers, Tight Ends, and H-backs
Profilin' the Tide: Tailbacks
Profilin' the Tide: Offensive Line
Profilin' the Tide: The Offense
Here are two quick ones that caught my attention - Michigan's lack of a tall WR and how well does Jesse pick up the NT position...

- All of Bama's corners are bigger than Michigan's top two returning receivers (Gallon and Roundtree)? What counterpunch will Michigan have if Bama presses at the line with regular success? Does one exist other than "hope Denard can run around and make something happen"?Speaking to the size disparity, one of either Darboh or Chesson will need to make a couple plays, which isn't exactly ideal for us or them for obvious reasons*. I'm not confident that Jeremy Jackson is an impact player, and who knows what Jerald Robinson's situation is. In short, Amarah and Jehu: hope you're ready to play.
- How much of the game on September 1st will Bama utilize the base 3-4? According to Saban, Alabama has only played out of the 3-4 approximately 20% of the time of late, with the other 80% accounted for by traditional 4-3 sets (in addition to the nickel). As RBR notes, with Dickson and Hubbard on the field at the same time, it also leaves the door open for some unique 5-2 looks and potential mass confusion on Michigan's part. Either way, with Denard's speed and Michigan's lack of a true power running game, Saban will probably be looking to get as much speed on the field as possible, which probably leads one to believe that September 1st will be a busy day for CJ Mosley.
