Game 1 of the championship series (best of 3) just resumed on ESPN2 for those who care. Game 2 is later today at 1 pm on ESPN... Fouts scheduled to pitch in that one.

Fouts is dealing... go figure. 0-0 going to the 6th, but she's done her job so far. Cool to see her intensity in the circle again at Rhodes. A competitor to her core.

Sounds like if UA signs off on it, the Talons may make Tuscaloosa their permanent home as this league starts to put down roots.

Fouts was lights out!!!
Kilfoyl was rock solid (one of those players that transferred out)
Wallace got one of the 4 hits for the bandits (another one that kills me that they let “leave”)
She was also hurt and moved really well down the line to get that hit.

Most of the ladies are spraying it all over and one of them in the front, was chugging hers with the goggles on!!!! It just cracked me up!!!

Wallace was asked to do a pretty simple thing, take some practice reps and help in the bullpen at catcher in case of an emergency situation since 2 of the catchers were already hurt. She didn't just refuse, she threw a fit and tried to poison the team well over it. It wasn't looked at too kindly by her other teammates, especially Hemphill, who stepped in and took those reps at catcher and ended up become one of the best we've ever had there.

Yeah I heard about that. I guess I worded it wrong. I was kinda getting st the talent that was once on the bama roster. Didn’t intentionally take a shot at the staff for that one.

I could see it maybe get some upgrades done at the complex... and I'd think it would have a decent impact on recruiting... having those players around campus during the summer with camps and such taking place... Lisa Fernandez being around... for a softball player that would be pretty cool. UA is notoriously stingy though about partnerships similar to this, so would they ultimately sign off on it? I don't know. I'd assume if Murphy pushed for it, they would.

I don’t think the league is flush with cash. IMO, any partnerships they have is to minimize expenses so they can pocket the money they do generate.
