The Pro Football Hall of Fame's Seniors Committee has selected its finalists for consideration for the football shrine's Class of 2014, and former Foley High School and University of Alabama quarterback Ken Stabler was again not one of them.

The only time in my life that I was a fan of a NFL team other than the Cowboys was when The Snake was at Oakland, Houston, and New Orleans. I still watch a little Raider ball because of The Snake. Have become a big fan of New Orleans also. All because of Kenny Stabler.

Honestly never knew he played for anyone other than the Raiders, but his playing plays was probably before I was born. What's the deal, was his off the field image that bad?

Yep and I watched every game I could with him playing. He was known for his bad boy ways for sure. He had a lot of interceptions but he reached 100 NFL wins faster than anyone during his time until Bradshaw, and only two others have done better being Montana and Brady. Has a Super Bowl Ring, threw for 27,000 plus yards and had some damn good come from behind games in his day. He deserves to be in the HOF.
