As of February 2017, two deaths considered to be associated with eluxadoline have been reported to FDA. Both deaths occurred in patients who did not have a gallbladder. My daughter been taking this drug since February of this year twice a day. She also don't have her gallbladder. She called her doctor and he did take her off. Bad thing it was working for her. Here the link to the news alert. So please keep her in your prayers or whateven you like to do. She had just became a grandparent.
