🏈 Positive confirmation Peter Burns is a dumbass. Argue with me. This man has kids...

I'd like to know how many those fans have taken out. Seems like everyone has found one or more in theirs.
Second this year. Third that's been killed in the back yard: string trimmer got the other one.

Crazy thing? I've never seen a lizard caught up. And they are in and out of that unit ALL the time.

One of my older sister's cat's got bit by either a copperhead or a rattlesnake a couple days ago. She took it to the vet and they treated it for rattlesnake since they said those are more venomous than copperheads. She said he's doing fine and should be OK. His face is still swollen (got hit on his nose and on forehead). I told her this:

Find it
Kill it
Cut its head off
Put it on a pike as a warning to all the other snakes

My BIL has a pretty big rattlesnake skin hanging in his basement. That thing is close to 6' long. He killed it in the yard and skinned it and hung it up. They live on 5 acres that's decently wooded. So there's a good amount of wildlife around their house.

Her youngest daughter's cat got bit by one not too long ago when her and her husband were at my sister's and BIL's house for...something. Sadly, he didn't make it. They didn't get him in time (he came staggering up to the house quite a bit after he got bit, they think) and he died on the way to the vet. She was obviously upset as she'd had him since he was a tiny kitten. He was a cool cat, too. And I was 1 of the VERY few people who he'd let hold him.

I've seen a non-venomous snake around here. It was maybe 4' long. I know it's not dangerous, but one of my phobias is snakes. Even seeing a picture of one freaks me out (have to scroll quickly in this thread, lol).

Have had 2 dogs bite. 99% chance copperhead.
Just let the bite do its thing. Lymph glans swoll ... bite area rotted away...
Hair grew back.... one dog lived another 14 years... the other 10-12 or so...
Ver bill was ...... zero. Dogs were fine
