šŸˆ Playoff Committee Rankings—week 13 (11/18)

I was thinking Arizona was u ranked when they beat Oregon, but I guess it doesn't really matter.

What sucks is... We're 1-1 against teams in the new top 25. A&M and LSU tanking I would think would have hurt us more. And WVU...

To make it into the playoffs, we have to win out. If we win out, we are the number one seed. Looks like we have no choice but being number one seed if we are getting in. I just hate having that number one target on our back now. I would prefer to be lower rated, but in the top four. To get to Championship # 16 we need to go undefeated so it really doesn't matter. If we can stay healthy, no one can beat us. We have enough hard core fans to fill up the Rose Bowl. RTR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just heard on WKRG TV in Mobile that the number one seed gets to pick either the Sugar or Rose Bowl. Sportscaster Randy Patrick says if Bama wins out, they choose the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans for the playoff. He ought to know what he is talking about.

When they were announcing how this was set up, it was said "the committee will protect the two top seeds from playing in a road environment." There was no mention of the #1 seed being able to choose where they play. I can't see why this is even a subject.

If Oregon is the #1 seed, they'll want to play close to home. If it's Bama, same situation applies. If it's TCU, they're going to want to play in New Orleans instead of Pasadena.

True. But, that doesn't mean he does, right?
