PJ'S Pick - South Carolina found a little offensive spark last week, but it was against the weakest UCF teams in several years. Missouri has a pretty good defense, but they have shown a distinct lack of offense these last two weeks. Nevertheless, don't be tempted by the 'under 41.5'. That is way too low, even for these two offenses. I think Zou wins, but it is too close a matter to lay the points. The best play is the over at 41.5.

PJ's Pick - Our friends at Lee County Trade School are very perplexed. That Malzahn magic on offense just has not materialized. Their defense was a bit better last week against the boys from Stark Vegas. At least the guys on the field were hustling and tackled better than they had earlier. Of course the MSU plan, once they realized that the Barner offense was offensive mainly to the home fans, they played it pretty close to the vest.

SJSU is a middle of the pack Mountain West team. The only time they stepped up to a power five team was a 35-21 loss to Oregon State. As much as it pains me, I expect the home team to win and cover.

PJ's Pick - I would love to see Florida bring off the upset this week, but I can't quite bring myself to recommend this as a pick. Picking the Gators to win would pay 2.5 to one if they bring it off, but the flu epidemic among Gator plyers this week has soured me on the likelihood of that happening. Under 51.5 is the best play to me.

PJ's Pick - Both of these fan bases have produced classic meltdown threads after unexpected losses this season. Each group had visions of their favorite team moving up to a more elite level. Instead, the Hog are reeling after three straight losses, while our Vol friends are getting tired of being the punchline in jokes about blowing double digit leads in the fourth quarter.

I like the Vols to get back on track at home, covering the 6.5 point spread.

PJ's Pick - Both teams are coming off good wins away from home. The bulldog defense will face a much tougher test than last week at Auburn. The Aggies are coming off a very emotional win over Arkansas last week. My feeling is that State does not have enough on offense to stay up with the Aggies. State will probably try to control the ball and keep the Aggie offense on the line with a short passing game mixed in with a few runs. I like the Aggies to win, but not necessarily to cover. I also like the 'under'.

PJ's Pick - You guys all know by now that I wear crimson colored glasses at all times. Being as objective as I can be in a game involving the Tide, Georgia has shown a lot of offense against two lower tier non power five teams, but were much less dominant against Vanderbilt, which has shown a pretty sassy defense so far. Vandy's defense is good, but not in the class of Bama's. Georgia will get some yards on the ground, but much less than they have been accustomed to, and Lambert will have to throw down the field to move the ball.

Georgia's defense is good, but it will not be a mystery to us, since we practice against a very similar one every day. There are some caveats: we have to take care of the football, and give Coker a clean pocket as much as possible. I expect the Tide to rise to the occasion.

This game will resemble the 2012 SEC CG. We all remember who won that game.
