It was an Atari I first played back then...that "ping pong" and then Asteroids. I got bored. The only video game that kept my attention was the hand held football game on sports trips in the bus. Mattel, I think. A friend of mine told me a few months ago you could find on one Amazon...well over a C-note. I have friends who will play video games for hours: it won't hold my attention more than a few minutes. It's just not my thing.
I gave my last tube tv to a thrift store years ago. But I do still have the rolling cart similar to the one pictured. Mine is in the basement and my generator sits on it,

I played some back then, about all we had to do after dark. Frogger, pitfall, and space invaders are the ones i remember. I'll play Playstation with my daughters sometimes on rainy days or something but I'm not a gamer either.
Remember playing football on the old apple computers. You picked a play, A thru D I think, then it told you the result. No graphics. Video games have come a long way.

Okay. An addendum to my earlier comment. I used to play golf every Sunday back in the late 90's and 2000's. On days it was storming/lightening we wouldn't...
Tiger Woods '99 for PC came out...bought that one and a friend of mine and I played quite a bit (even bought the extra courses CD.)
