The mechanic said mine wasn't rebuildable due to the amount of wear. Jasper sells rebuilt engines and they come with a 3 year 100k warranty if you have them installed by a certified mechanic so just the company I bought from. You can order them from a few guys on the west coast as well but I went with jasper.

Yeah, I had a Jasper in my '77 Vette, a far sight better than the original boat anchor that was in it. Due to emissions controls, I think the original was only rated at around 180hp.
