I recognized that picture immediately!

One of the best productions HBO/Spielberg/Hanks and specifically Stephen Ambrose. If you've not watched Band of Brothers, it's a MUST SEE! (It's hard to believe that mini-series is 18 years old.)

Believe you me...when it comes to a great read you should grab Band of Brothers, E Company, 506th Regiment, 101st Airborne: From Normandy to Hitler's Eagle's Nest by Stephen Ambrose. It's a pretty easy read chalked full of history.

So, I get this image in my email this morning from a friend I've been out with a few times and all I can think is...

I have one of these in a bed in my front yard. I've had it for roughly 15 years now. It's one of the slow growing Ginko's ... literally, bought it when it was about 4' high, now 15 years later it may, MAY, be 8'. For you landscaping hobby folk...looks great accenting a variegated euonymus .

Indianapolis has Giokos all over downtown.

We were there when the freeze caused the the foliage to drop. It was literally one day the leaves were on the trees and the next day they were on the ground.

Yep, maybe ¾ mile SW from Thompson Creek Bridge.

That pic is from Mesa Verde, a surreal place to visit. You can almost feel the presence of souls from cultures of the long passed civilizations. This N.P. is well worth the time to visit. They have an outstanding on sight museum that is worth the price of admission itself.

Question for the golfers. The tall guy made me think of it. How are clubs regulated as to weight, shaft diameter, etc. I ask because the taller the player the more the club would flex during the swing and would seem (to me) to be more difficult to control/finesse.
