Doe you didn't get a picture of the lady with the big check? She was one of the old band member.

I couldnt see her from ground level, it was packed with all of the band parents and softball people trying to get pictures

Now I'm gonna make an unpopular statement, and I know it will get some angry. And I won't give any specific examples because I know parents, friends, etc could be reading. But I thought with all the success Alabama has had recently in athletics maybe we could attract some better "talent" at cheerleader and Crimsonette positions.

I see the Southern Cal girls, Arizona State, Florida, etc and I'm always puzzled. :icon_scratch: I know warmer weather, etc. See FAU girls for example.

I am still glad the cheer for us and put in all the hard work because I know it isn't easy.

I agree and I'm a female. Before you get any crazy ideas you'd have to be blind not to notice some cheerleaders above others. Of course I'm saying things like she's precious, I'd love to look like her, etc... while you guys are definitely thinking along different lines. LOL. My oldest was about to fall out of his seat last year watching the Arkansas cheerleaders and even made some comment along the lines of "Alabama's never look like those". We do have some pretty/cute ones. Overall only thing I can think of is Alabama's cheer goal is to win nationals every year, and I think they actually recruit for that purpose. Schools like Auburn, UGA, FAU even are out there to look pretty and grab the camera's attention. Alabama is obviously successful in what they do, but the other schools are as well. Only question I have is how Kentucky seems to do both year in and year out.


Have no idea about the Crimsonettes other than if you're from Fayette you'll be wearing the crimson sequins and long white boots every Sat. Don't know why, just the facts. BTW, I want the boots! Love those things. :wink:
