What amazing shots those all were.

sidenote:
I was a photojournalist when I was a student at Alabama and the head of Student Media was trying to get me an intership at the Advocate when I graduated. She said they were well known for their sports photographers. Those shots show why.

I love the shot of Julio making the catch to set up the TD. (#29 photo)

That photo really displays JJ's strength and concentration. The LSU defender had a good hold on Jones' bicep area.

I enlarged the gallery as I viewed the pics and that shot would make a terrific screen saver.

Thanks Sandra.

See the one of JPW under the pile? Good pics there.

Yep, from that angle it is very evident that he got in.

I like how Baron Huber is looking down at him.

Yeah, unfortunately CBS had no angle on that play. I knew it wouldn't be overturned because I knew there was NO way to have conclusive evidence under that big ole pile to reverse the ruling. Wish CBS would have had this angle though. Great picture!

On a side note, how many pounds are on top of JPW at this point?

Here's a pic of Cody after the game that was put out by AP.

Kinda getting off the subject here but...

Kirby reminds me a LOT of Will Muschamp. Both young, both blossomed under Saban, learned his philosophy, both are very energetic and loved by their players, and they remain close friends today. Obviously, Muschamp has moved on and gotten some other gigs and varied experience, but Smart has had offers to move on too, and he hasn't taken them. I think it is obvious he loves working with Saban and loves being at Alabama. I think 3 or 4 years from now he is going to be one of the hottest names out there, like Muschamp is today. Also, when Saban's time is up here, and he retires to Lake Burton, it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Smart as the possible successor. But that is WAYYYY down the road... so it really isn't worth pondering.
