Not my work...found it on another site.
I did a quick count of all the players listed on Phil Steele's Pre Season All SEC 1st - 4th teams. I gave a team four points for a 1st team selection, 3 pts for 2nd, 2 pts for 3rd and 1 point for a 4th team selection. This does not line up with how i would select them but i still thought it was interesting so i thought i would share:
1. LSU 45 pts
2. Alabama 38 pts
3. Arkansas 33 pts
4. Georgia 29 pts
5. Florida 24 pts
6. Texas A&M 21 pts
6. Auburn 21 pts
8. South Carolina 19 pts
9. Tennessee 15 pts
10. Mississippi St. 12 pts
11. Missouri 9 pts
12. Kentucky 5 pts
12. Ole Miss 5 pts
14. Vanderbilt 4 pts

Phil Steele lost any credibility with the selection of Duron Carter. Unless CNS has a change of heart and DC gets his head out of his arse, he'll never see the field unless he buys a ticket!

Not surprised we took up the majority of the 1st team on O-Line but what I don't get is why Eddie Lacy is so low? Did he not lead the SEC in yards per carry?:headscratch: You'd think with an additional experienced O-Line that would make him excel even more.

Preseason, that's fair.

Knile led the SEC in his frosh year after popping on the scene the last half of the season. He didn't get his shot last year with the injury. Lattimore is likely the 1st RB taken in the draft. He's definitely one of the top two or three in the nation.

I don't know anything about Michael at A&M. There is an argument to be had for Lacy over Crowell.

Carter was listed on the A-Day roster. I started a thread a couple of weeks ago seeking info on Carter's status but no one responded. How do y'all know Carter is not playing? How do y'all know Phil Steele's info is invalid? Very interested if one of y'all can share more detail about Duron.

No he wasn't.

He's not playing. That's what I've been told by a few players and by a few parents.

Until Duron is no longer at UA, it's best just to let things lie as they are.

I'll say this. I had a dad tell me yesterday when we were laughing at Steele's list and Duron playing.

"I'd love to see it. But, if Saban could pull that one off we'd probably be investigated."
