FWIW, the ghost writer for Savage, Ray Glier, is a pretty damn good author. I've not read his work with Pat Dye. I've been told it's a pretty good read. I have read How the SEC Became Goliath and enjoyed it.

Savage has accomplished a lot in the game and I've always enjoyed his perspective on all things Bama.
