🏈 Pete Carroll to the Seahawks is the rumor! Is he bailing?

That's right I bet the ESPN network won't rip his arse for getting USC on probation and bailing on them!

I think Carroll sees the writing on the wall they should at the least lose a nat. title and bush's heisman and close to 30 wins!

Well, if the NCAA forces them to vacate wins from 2004 two things involving us will occur.

First, they will vacate the Orange Bowl victory over Oklahoma which will result in us again taking over the top spot for all time bowl victories by ourselves.

Second, the Barners will scream that the vacated wins by USC results in them being the lone undefeated team that year and thus the rightful national champion.

The latter will be a moot point, and the product of subjective analysis forcing one to ignore that Oklahoma was ranked higher than Auburn and it would be unfair to punish the Sooners for having to play and lose to USC while Auburn dodged that bullet.

The former point would be a matter of factual information the product of objective measurement.

Still, the howls from the Plains will be loud and long. And unfruitful in the end.

Rumor has it that Mike Riley might be headed to USC if Carroll leaves.

I am going to talk with some people I know in professional football about Mike Riley.

From my own eyes, he seems like a fair-to-middling coach, but he sure gets some attention from some major college programs and professional organizations.

Moore offered him the Alabama job and now THE USC is rumored to be interested. He was the head coach of the San Diego Chargers and I know the Tampa Bay Bucs had him on their short list at one time.

Some people with hiring-firing authority in some pretty major jobs see something in Riley that I have missed. Guess I need to try to learn what they know, and try to learn why they know what they think they know.
