šŸ“” Paul Constantine takes over Dr. Rhea's role in Bama's Sports Science department

They Saints aren’t first and won’t the be last to inquire about their services. NFL teams are constantly in and out of the facility and they impress a lot of folks with their knowledge, methods, and results. Personally, I think they’ll ride it out at least until Saban is done, maybe longer depending on replacement. Also keep in mind, like when folks come calling for someone like Nate Oats… they like it here. Their families like it here. Their kids like it here and like the school they attend. There’s a lot of value in that.

I know, but we bought The Process, we bought Lane's playcalling, and we bought our current S&C. None of it was created here. It's always up for sale.

Ok , now i see what you were getting at.

I just kinda felt like with Cochroach leaving Saban had to fill the spot and bought the new concept and made it main stream with the new facilities and at a major program.

But u are correct. I guess we did take from someone else , so touchƩ.

Just a note on him... his wife is an assistant on the WBB staff.
I was playing around on twitter last night and saw where his wife was on staff, but her twitter acct had been suspended for "breaking the rules". With all the "woke" social media, that could mean anything. Just found it odd.

I'm kind of shocked that Rhea is leaving and Ballou is not going with him. They have been a duo for quite some time. Kind of breaking up the band..........then after that statement, this is what pops into my head.

I was a bit surprised too, but I'm glad it happened now that it has provided me with Dwight Yoakam content.

I think we're not only one surprised with this move. Paul will do great. I don't think lot will change within the program.

On thing I thought was sorta interesting, Pate broke the news. On the Alabama football Richter scale, Rhea leaving isn't like a coordinator leaving or a key player transferring out, but it's still pretty big news. Certainly more newsworthy than some of these analysts that have been added. Anyway, Pate puts it out there and I didn't see anyone else (talking about mainstream guys and beat reporters) who reported it unless they either sourced and regurgitated Pate's tweet or waited almost 24 hours when Rhea's tweet came out confirming it. Usually, you'd see several guys come out rigt away and while still sourcing Pate, confirm it on their own and run with the story. Never saw that... just found it odd.
