🏈 Pass Rush

Bama has a long way to go in rushing the QB. They actually stepped it up at the end of the fourth quarter, but they really needed to pressure Manziel in the first quarter when he led the Aggies to three touchdowns.

Clowney on last year's defense wouldn't have been fair

I see your point though. A consistent pass rush would help but it really hasn't been too necessary. Upshaw didn't blitz every down. Outside of Dareus there really hasn't been a great, every down pass-rush type guy. That said, it obviously hasn't hurt too much.

If Travell Dixon had progressed like Belue has, A&M might have still won but I have my doubts. Put DeQuan in the rotation and the outcome changes. Barron? Different outcome completely.

In nickel we've been using three safeties this year. It's not a good match-up against a 3-4 wide set.

Do you think L Collins will fit in much like Barron for next season?

The only assumption we can make right now is we'll see Vinnie and HaHa starting with Collins playing a lot. Spring camp will answer some questions, I'm sure.

We'll need some strong contributions from at least three corners and another safety just to start.

Regarding corners, do you think Milner goes pro?

No doubt—more confident in that than any of our other JR's and there are some that are still considering leaving; including AJ.

After this weekends game I'm more encouraged about what Fulton can bring to the table. On the other hand, I haven't seen a lot from Geno Smith that makes me think he's ready.
