🏈 Out of character?

Complete B.S. Play football. Knock off the trash talk and the acting out. I hope Saban kicks his ass. With a second fumble on a scoring drive that they turned into a scoring drive it seemed like déjà Vu. He could have cost us the game. He is not irreplaceable.

That celebrating crap never happened in a Bryant coached team. When Ozzie Newton spiked the ball after his first touchdown in the NFL he said to the reporters. I hope Coach Bryant didn't see that
.

Al Gore inventing the Internet wrong...

Yeah he did, after the TD following the fumble recovered by Upshaw. It was right on front of us. Shocked me.

When emotions come out in big games like this, they tend to happen. Would you have seen Ingram do that on a TD run against Mississippi State? No... do you ever recall seeing Julio ever taunt or even hardly celebrate (other than a chest bump) ever? Remember the "gator wrangling" thing he and Ingram did on the sideline in the SEC Championship?

Emotions get the better of you sometimes, the good ones dont let it happen too much.

I don't know if TJ was doing the throat slash or not but I saw Vinnie do the same thing later in the game. Didn't get flagged though. It's just an emotional thing that happened. Nothing more nothing less. Sometimes the players get fed up with the hype as well as we do.

I agree with mahout. Play football, kick ass and let your actions do your talking. Its got nothing to do with Coach Bryant, its about class and acting like you've been there. Not to mention, the threat of a penalty that hurts the team.

TJ apologizes.

"I want to apologize to everyone for my selfish actions on Saturday. That is not the way I want to represent myself, my family and our team. That is not the way we do things at Alabama. This is something I will elarn from and I will use better judgment in the future."

Personally, I didnt like the throat gesture, its not needed. Yeldon has been in the endzone plenty of times and probably got caught up in the moment. I give him the benefit of the doubt and move on. I am sure he will have a little extra to do at practice today for the momentary transgression. No problem with the flag being thrown.

Yeldon played so well, like a champion. Then he sunk down to Manziel's level with the gesturing. That was beneath him and he knew better. He knew he'd catch hell from Saban, he knew the team would be penalized, and he did it anyway. I agree that will be the last time that happens. I saw the cameras later focus on a sort of private "Cash Money" conversation between Manziel and another Aggie player. I just don't want us to be like them.
