So LB Frank Shannon just suspended for the season for roughing up a women in January by the school President, but says he can't enforce it yet. RB Joe Mixon had an incident during summer with roughing up a women. Don't forget they have DGB (who also roughed up a women while at Mizzou).

I noticed this as well. They talk about Stoops like he's hard on this kind of stuff, but is that only after he allows it to happen, or are these guys just that dumb to do it even after they have been warned by him and the program? Starting to get dangerous and I would straight kill any man that ever hit my little girl.

i've heard of players being suspended for a season but being allowed to practice, that may be what he's talking about (of course that doesn't really make sense, but who knows?). and a bit off topic, but i don't think that's right, though. in my opinion if they're suspended, then they should be suspended from ALL football operations; practice, watching film, working out in the football weight room with other players, entering the football building, playing in games, etc.

but it could be he has suspended him but needs clearance from others. although i don't know who that would be since it's the school president.

who knows?.....it's oklahoma, nothing they do makes sense anymore.

DGB's waiver denied (trying to transfer to dodge punishment) - NCAA doing their job right, Mixon out for the season, Shannon suspended too due to January incident. Guess they aren't changing their uniforms after all.
