My guess would be $$$$$$$ because everybody knows that money and poon make the world go round. She has all the poon she wants.

She tried to parlay her appearance on Dancing with the Stars a few years ago into a larger contract. At that time she was pulling down a couple of hundred grand per, and she wanted a bump up to the three quarters of a mill range. I don't recall how close she got to that figure, but I do remember most in the industry thought she thought she wasn't worth more than she actually was making at the time.

Fox going after her? I'm not surprised considering the money they've spent to get into collegiate sports the last two years. The just signed a decade+ year deal with the PAC, and are planning on going prime time with several broadcasts this upcoming season.

I've seen reports of the FOX offer as "aggressive." Personally, she's just not worth it in my opinion. She certainly is better now than she was when she started covering college football. Hell, I still recall watching her on the sidelines during a game and seeing her producer feed her the talking points about the game. At least now she understands a portion.

Side note: When it comes to talking football and actually knowing what you're talking about...it's always been Suzy Kolber. She is very respected by her peers.

Wasn't she the one that Joe Willie was hitting on on the sideline at a Jets game several years ago? She does know her football!

Cobra, I wasn't picking at Joe or making fun of him. I know that was a low point in his life. I knew her name was Suzy, just wasn't sure on last name. I had a feeling that was her Terry!

He was in rare form that day. I'm glad he's put his life back in order and regained some control.

I had the thought last night that perhaps Cobra was using the name "Colbert" as a joke because Namath may have mispronounced Kolber. He may have been but I didn't catch it in the video if that was the case.

When I think about the female reporters that ESPN has used she's definitely at the top of my list. There are others who have done a good job on content, don't get me wrong. Andrea Kramer has had some good investigative pieces. But, her delivery style is ESPN's version of Capt. Kirk reporting sporting news.

Holly Rowe has had some good reports as well though her choice of twitter usernames, sportsiren, is definitely...well, odd. Now, I feel for her considering some of the comments you'll see posted. She's hardly a femme fatale as the name "siren" implies in Greek Mythology.

There was no joke intended. I simply didn't look up the correct spelling of her name and so misspelled it.

Well she was not to hard to look at that's for sure but it seemed like she was being feed the questions she asked.

It's very true.

It was either in 2005 or 2006 I watched her sideline segments from the stands and also saw her producer walk her through every thing she was supposed to say when they cut over to her.

Now, she's better now than then but it was bound to happen: osmosis and all.
