📽 /🎵 Oscar-winning actor Robert Duvall dead at 95

Another great, great actor gone. I don't know if I've seen anything he was in that I didn't like. One of my favorite roles of his was Hub in Secondhand Lions.

:crying:
My youngest boy loved watching Secondhand Lions, usually when staying with my folks. From my standpoint, the line from the end, "they really lived" is a clincher.

I was too young to catch the The Godfather in its original play, but I enjoyed Duvall in reruns of True Grit - my Dad made sure that movie was going to be on when it showed on network TV - and many others. His transition to old guy was underway when I saw him in Falling Down, really enjoyed his role. Open Range is a great movie, loved him in it.

This deserves another bump...

There is a site I visit on occasion to see what is trending on different subscription sites. It was yesterday, or the day before, I looked to see what new series were premiering next month and noticed that Lonesome Dove was in the top ten for trending series this past week. I thought that was pretty wild considering it is going up against the new releases.
