This whole thing reminds me of the Artest situation in Detroit a few years back. Oregon should be counting their luck stars that there was security there to stop him from going in the stands as he walked through the tunnel.

I don't know if you can call this guy a thug...I don't know him well enough, but he sure as hell acted/looked like on last night. I can almost guarantee that there have been issues with him before. I doubt that he would have been suspended for the year if there hadn't been. I mean, he punched his own teammate while his teammate was trying to get him to the lockeroom.

I hope that this guy doesn't get drafted...he doesn't deserve it.

Ya know, I'm all for waiting until all the details come out before drawing a conclusion on any incident.

But, in this case, within a matter of one minute, you could see all the evidence you need to see about what kind of character this man possesses.

Notice, "what kind of character this man possesses."

At 21 years old, I'd like to know any situation or instance one can think of in life where he'd be considered a kid. Fact is, that age group was passed over three years ago when he turned 18, and depending on your viewpoint maybe before that.

FWIW, this was not Blount's first "incident". Sounds to me like this suspension is the cumulative punishment for a continuing pattern of bad/disruptive behavior.

Selfishly, I'm just glad he won't be playing against us when we visit Oregon in two weeks.
