šŸˆ OOC records vs. P5 during the playoff era when you don’t include the best team in each league (Clem, Okla, OhSt, Oregon, Bama)

This is an eye opening stat & I finally have numbers that support what I have been saying about the ACC for decades. They have marginal teams & only ONE team worth a crap by the end of the season. And that team (Clemson) plays more players (thus giving them legitimate playing time) than any team in college football. Outside of Clemson the ACC's top 4-5 would get curb stomped by the SEC's top 4-5 (not including 'Bama).

Kentucky Vs NC State is exibit A. And interestingly enough this was Kentucky's first win against a ranked (sarcasm) opponent this year. Kentucky would be in their top 4-5... K E N T U C K Y

Look also at the Tx A&M versus North Carolina game also. I guess so far only the Barn and Gators have crapped the bed although UGA almost did. In the end none of it matters to me as long as Bama wins.

Last 2 years, the ACC has gone 4-13 in Bowl games 2 of those 4 wins coming against Eastern Michigan & Temple.
They were 1-9 vs Top 25 opponents.

Last 2 years, the SEC has gone 15-4 in Bowl games.
They were 12-3 vs Top 25 opponents.

Bowl matchups are terrible examples to compare conference to conference IMHO, unless we're comparing #1 ACC to #1 SEC, etc. Many times it's #3 vs #6

And almost always it’s the SEC with the higher seed. I enjoy looking at Conference Bowl Records, but it’s not always a level playing field...usually the SEC is running uphill.

And more times than not we still end up with a good Conference Bowl Record.

You really dont need metrics when evaluating ACC...
....its a weak conference.....period...up and down the line...
FSU was the power...for so many years with very little challenge...
And now it’s Clemson.... just no challenge....
AU could join ACC and play for championship every year...
