so my roommate has DirectTV scheduled to be installed between 12 and 4pm CST on Saturday

And since he decided he has to make a trip,. Im stuck being at the house for it...meaning I cant go somewhere to watch the game

Is there a good site I can stream the game? I have doubts the install will be done in time to watch the game.

If you get the same installer I had about 4 months ago, he'll arrive at 7pm, and take 3 1/2 hours to install it. You *might* can catch the 4th quarter of the Missouri/Nebraska game.

Not sure of anywhere online that will carry it for sure, but a while back Porkchop posted a link to this site...

http://channelsurfing.net/

...apparently they carry quite a few of the national games. Might want to check them out.

You can go to espn.com and just click on it at the top..but you wont actually be watching it..It will just be like a gametracker thing..lol

CBS Sportsline online is the way to go.

Every Windows user should have TVU Player installed on their computers. With TVU, you can watch CBS, Sci-Fi, Spike, Comedy Central, and many other channels.

Mac users will have to install a Windows operating system via bootcamp, Fusion, or some other method in order to use TVU. The same goes for Linux users.

End of Line...

Thanks for the TVUplayer suggestion, worked pretty well.

Wasnt perfect, but damn sight better than nothing.

And...the installer for DirectTV showed up 7.5 hours late...just in time for it to be too dark and have to come back tommorrow. ...sigh...

That should get you free HBO and Showtime for at least 6 months. :)
