🏈 One more thing on the past weekend: "Dear Booger, No, we don't want Sam Darnold."

From the collegiate football recap show(s) Sunday and Monday of this week.

I heard this more than once over those two days. Booger, on both ABC, ESPN, and the SECN making the comment about how "Bama fans wanted Jalen to be Sam Darnold when the Tide travels to College Station this weekend."

No. I'm not making that up. I didn't say anything Monday because...well, I wanted to make sure I heard it correctly.

So, here we are...Darnold with nine TD's and eight INT's.

As a team, Bama is sitting on ... 10 TD's and how many INT's?

Do I need to mention how Jalen has 435+ more yards rushing than Darnold? Do we discuss this in terms of All-Purpose yards?

Sorry Booger, not a damn thing I see here that makes me want Darnold over Jalen.

Not. A. Damn. Thing.

I didn't see it, but I think he means Hurts needs to be more of a pro style QB. Passing game will be key, not the RPOs which are more ROs of what direction Hurts will run.

I'm with you, the stats are much better for Hurts.

I think I would want Hurts, to play like Hurts than Darnold. How is he getting these thing from us? What by twitting to him, FB, message? Has any of you guy message Booger about this?

but I think he means Hurts needs to be more of a pro style QB.
Is he the only one that missed the reasons Daboll was brought in to Tuscaloosa? Yes, it was to return to a more pro-style set and rushing attack but it also included NOT losing the option(s) he brings to the field.
How is he getting these thing from us?
Perhaps the year long (+) debates found on some of the other forums? I've seen a handful around who still insist Jalen hasn't progressed in the passing game.

My point ... probably more so than any ... goes back to discussions we had pre-season last year: I want a quarterback who protects the ball.

I cannot comprehend why we would want anyone else other than the guy that is under center for us. No turnovers, found his touch on the medium to longer routes, and a guy that has only lost one game in the last ten seconds of the national Championship. yeah, I'll take my guy over their guy any day. Another media hype machine that's eyes were bigger than their stomachs. They must have put the University of Georgia PR team on Darnold's campaign this offseason, cause they've won the last thirty pre-season National Championships.
