🏈 OMG I'm tired of all the vol crying already. See video

If "ifs and buts" were candy and nuts, we'd all (including UT) have a merry Christmas.

We need to quit worrying about what some prepubescent, "I don't shave yet" kid says.

This is a case of not knowing your rules. he could have saved the bandwidth for something else. The ball crossed the line of scrimmage therefore it is treated like a punt and only the defense can advance the ball. The play was over as soon as it crossed the line of srimmage. Rolando and Julio ran over to cover it just to make sure, which isn't a bad idea as it only crossed the line by about 2 yards so they were just making sure.

SEC responds

"The foul for taking helmet off is a live ball foul treated as a dead-ball foul," Bloom wrote in an e-mail Saturday night. "That is, if it happens on a play where time does not expire then the penalty is enforced on the following play. However since the clock ran out on that play, then there is no next play, so there is no penalty to mark off."

If that isn't good enough just forward this picture as you can see the clock reads what looks like 0:01 with Cody still in the air. I watched the replay and it's obvious the game and block was over when Cody blocked it just after 0:00.

You're absolutly right. My friends brothe'r recorded the game on the Tenn network and the cameras they use show different angles on the field than the tv network cameras do. After the block, they showed an angle from Bama's sideline at field level, of Cody running after the block. Just before he took his helmet off, the camera got the perfect shot of the game clock above the tunnel in the north east corner of the north endzone. They panned right and the clock read 0:00, then thats when Cody ran into frame just as he was reaching to rip his helmet off. The game was over so nothing matters after the clock reads 0:00. And sorry for getting off subject. Has anybody else seen the game on the Tenn network? I don't know who their commentators are but I hope everything they were sayin goes public. They were cussing Bama the whole time when they went to commercial. Right before the game was over, one guy said "if we had half a kicker, We'd beat these sons of bit___s." And then, I think in the 3rd qtr, he said, "I hope yall enjoy this cause in the next couple years, we're gonna beat your a$$es so enjoy it boys." Totally uncalled for.

I've talked to some uber optimistic UT fans who spout out this same kind of junk, and none has been able to answer this question.

The entire SEC (including Tennessee) has not prevented Alabama from rising from a mid-tier team to become a National Power, so what is Tennessee going to begin doing to Bama that all the other programs could not do given three years?

Lure a Defensive Coach away, and Bama responds by once again being the #1 Defense in the Country.

Claim to be a recruiting jugernaught, and finish behind Bama (and LSU, and Florida, and Georgia)

Crow about you great RB signee, but he trails Bama's Richardson...our back up.

Fall back on the ol' stand by "we have 100k fans", and we match it cause we are growing.

:no-no: I don't see it happening.

Waaaaaa, Waaaaa, Waaaaa.....

Bama beat us again! Waaaa, Waaaa, Waaaa....

The SEC office (Roy Kramer) and the NCAA is not helping us out anymore, Waaaa, Waaaa, Waaa.

P.S. Know your rules before you start whining -- would you like some cheese with that whine ?? :nopity:

If the ball crossed the LOS its by an inch or two. Not even close to two yards.:headscratch:
