Saw lot of fan reaction saying Barnett should get equal opportunity.

I dont think the performance of Oline gives either that choice. If Oline performs as poorly as in first quarter, that decision has already been made in favor of Jalen.

Barnett is so immobile and has poor pocket presence to really challenge Jalen. I am concerned about Oline and dont believe Barnett can really challenge this year.

About halfway through the second quarter, the OL finally started to gel a bit. When the second half started, they were bulldozing some USC defenders. I remember Jonah Williams (almost) pancaking a defender, which allowed Damien Harris to break for a huge run. I don't know if Bozeman and Pierschbacher (sp?) will start in the same positions or switch, but I'm good with how the OL looked.

I just wonder where Shank will fit into this.

I know they have the straight line strength, the conditioning, and the "bully factor." I just want them to jel a little more better, learn and handle assignments as a team... and I think this will happen very very soon.

The Oline has to gel. They made mistakes against USC. It was bound to happen just simply do the challenge or replacing R Kelley.

Regarding Bateman... if he starts again, he better not look like a deer in the headlights. That alone sets an offense on edge. I think this is just about his final audition at becoming the viable starter because Hurts just doesn't seem to panic.
