I went to the Auburn/Ole Miss game in 2007 at Jordan-Hare and had the misfortune of sitting next to an Ole Miss fan that was HAMMERED. He embarrassed himself to the point his girlfriend actually broke up with him at the game, during the first half no less, and told him she would find her own way home--TO OXFORD! The guy was a complete tool, as were the rest of their fans we ran into that day

They were also Mooing or something during the National Anthem. I sit one section over from them... I got a few middle fingers when I reminded them they were the team we chose to beat for homecoming :)

While watching it wasn't clear at first what was going on. There was all of a sudden lots of booing. Then I realized. What were they cheering? Were they dumb enough not to notice the entire stadium quite as a church mouse for a reason? I guess that's the point!

They knew exactly what they were doing and were laughing about it.

Look, they are a .500 team, every year, at best. This is what teams like this do. They staring directly at the cellar of the West, which means that they are STILL better than most of the East. They don't realize the last part. Still, they are ready to hang Houston Nutt, can't blame them there, and are relagated to drinking the rest of the football season away, as they do most years. It's gotta be depressing.

Yeah they were playing dirty the whole game. When i saw that jackass intnetionally step
on Gregs throwing hand i was pissed. Leads me to ask the question.....
do they coach that stuff over there or what? And do our coaches teach our guys how
to defend it? if they're playing dirty do our guys get coaching on how to handle some one playing dirty?

And whil i wasn't @ this game i WAS @ the Fla. game and nothing could beat the jackass i had sitting right next to me.
Thankfully when i got back to my seat @ half time he & his crack ho had split for Jacksonville.
She was iritated to no end with his behavor. Guy's here's a clue....if yer ol lady is i'll becuse your acting like a baboon....
it might be a good time to tone it down a notch or three. lol He ran his mouht the whole 1st qtr. But by the 1/2 he was GONE.
So i got to enjoy the rest of the game JERK FREE.

and is it me or are the bleachers in BDS the most GOD uncomforatable things you've ever put your butt on?
By the end of the night my back was killing me!

AAK,

While I thoroughly agree Ole Miss isnt the cleanest bunch of fans/players, I really dont think the player stepped on McElroy on purpose. They showed the replay and it looks like McElroy propped up on his fist, then spread his hand out and moved under the player as the guy shifted his feet.

It didn't appear deliberate to me, either. If I recall correctly, the announcers referred to it as an accident as well.

If you think they were bad, wait until an undefeated Auburn comes to town.

They will be unbearable. Right now honestly with our offense on the downward spiral and the defense sometimes confused I'm not liking the Iron Bowl potential outcome. I hope im wrong. But if the boys from the plains finish undefeated with a win in Tuscaloosa its going to be ugly.

* Yes AU fans, I know Bama has its fair share of idiots too. Honestly when I read some of the banter on these forums between the two fan bases its down right embarrassing.
