šŸˆ OL Brandon Hill released from Alabama scholarship: headed to MS JUCO

Brandon Hill, an offensive lineman who redshirted last year, tweeted that he had been released from his Alabama scholarship.

The 6-foot-6, 385-pound Hill is from Collierville, Tenn., announced the move via a series of tweets. He did thank the coaches for support, and hashtagged a Roll Tide at the end of his tweets. He retweeted several messages of encouragement.

Hill signed with Alabama in 2012 out of high school, but went to Hargrave Military Academy. He then committed to Ole Miss, but recommitted to Alabama in December 2012 before enrolling at Alabama in the spring of 2013.

Brandon Hillwill play at his third school in as many years, as the former Alabama offensive lineman has enrolled at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, AL.com confirmed.

Hill's hope is it will lead to a longer stay at whichever school he chooses as his fourth.

Hill, a 6-foot-6, 370-pound offensive lineman, announced his departure from Alabama last week in a series of tweets. The Collierville, Tenn., product did not play in his first and only season at Alabama, but he did drop a significant amount of weight.

Hill, a three-star prospect out of St. George's High School, originally signed with Alabama in 2012 but failed to qualify. He spent the year at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., before enrolling at Alabama in January 2013.

After a year at junior college, Hill would have three years of eligibility remaining at whichever school he chooses next.
