The flip was a key driver in Fox agreeing to the deal, per sources."
Yet Texas still has UGA and UF on their future OOC schedules. Real head scratcher as to why SEC required OU to drop SEC opponents from their future schedules and did not do so with UT.

Without looking back at the thread where we were talking about these cancellations didn't we determine it was when those OU games were scheduled? IE: Their second meeting—both with UT and UGA—would come when they're both (OU and TX) are full-fledged members. They didn't want to play one as a non-con, then the other as a conference game.

I do not recall that being the case, and probably no way to check that out since the games have been dropped from the OU schedules. But if it is, does that mean the SEC is going to schedule the UT-UGA and UT-UF games as conference games in the same years they were scheduled as OOC?

OU vs UGA made complete sense. They were scheduled to play in 2023 and then again in 2031: one non con and then one conference game.
UT vs OU was originally a 2020 game followed by a 2024 game. Both would have been "good to go" and then the conference was hit with C-19 and they went to conference only. 2024 was still good at the time they made the change except that they rescheduled the 2020 game. Now UT was looking at 2024 out of conference and the rescheduled game falling into conference play.
In both situations, one conference and one non conference meeting...then the SEC nixed both in 2022 to avoid both scenarios.
What I can't remember was what year the 2020 game between UT and OU was rescheduled other than after both teams joined the conference.
