| FTBL Oklahoma State Cowboys Quarterback Alan Bowman granted 7th years.

Makes more $$ from NIL than NFL. Since college football is now the farm league for the NFL, they may start granting unlimited eligibility, at least until the coach drafts a new high school recruit or an unrestricted free agent from another college.

A good move to earn a good paycheck when you really are not going to make it to the NFL. Little side effects of NIL people do not think about.

A guy says go into the real world and take a pay cut or stay in school and get the NIL money... Easy decision for guys that are productive in College but not likely to be so in NFL.

l think they should get retirement. Maybe a matching 401k plan for their NIL money. Sorry, my but disappointment in where things seem to be going is getting the better of me. Guess I'm just getting old and living in the past.

That whole "free year of eligibility due to Covid" will mercifully end after next season, and HOPEFULLY, there aren't a ton a guys left exercising that. Too many people are still sucking on the Covid tit, and not just in college sports, but other areas of life. Time to move on. Lord, I could rant on that all day LOL
