Oklahoma LB says Derrick Henry's too ugly to win the Heisman

Oklahoma linebacker Eric Striker, who has quite a reputation among SEC fans after harassing Tennessee earlier this season, is rooting for teammate Baker Mayfield to win the Heisman this season.

Why? He's better-looking than Alabama running back Derrick Henry who, Striker says, looks like a monster from another planet:


Henry, of course, doesn't look like Predator, the alien Arnold Schwarzenegger took out in an exotic jungle in the 1987 film.

He's actually meaner.

This has fantastic bulletin board material written all over it for the Crimson Tide's best player. It's too bad we won't see Alabama-Oklahoma right out of the gate in a semifinal matchup on Dec. 31.

Here's video of Striker's post-game rant in Knoxville after Oklahoma's overtime win in September. He sent out a half-hearted apology to Tennessee and Butch Jones a couple days later.

Striker had his chances to stop Henry 2 years ago. As I recall, he didn't do so well.... And this is a better Henry. Striker has improved some, but not to the same degree. In my opinion...

The award is for the Heisman, which goes to the best player in the country (theoretically).

You have this confused with the His-Man, which goes to the prettiest little grab-asser in the mid west.

I hope this helps clear up the confusion. I will be rooting for Mr. Mayfield to win the His-Man so that you both may display the trophy in your new home in San Francisco.
