They said based on reports from Bama practice he is looking crazy awesome. Said Bo is slated to be the next Heisman winner. Said Vegas has updated and added him to there betting lines. They said word out of practice is that he 6'2 230 and is looking like a freak He is playing with no signs of past injury and if he can stay healthy will be a huge part of Bama offense this year. Just passing it along.

Dude has been a freak for a long time. Actually a long long time. I remember seeing pictures of him in his early high school years, like no way this kid isn't already in college.

This was in 2012 :)

Yeah it all depends on his health. He's been fragile so far in his career, but he's absolutely a beast. I can't wait to see him in action.
I was actually calling for the coaches to give him the #2 job last year. He could've really helped our offense. But oh well, luckily we were able to get by with one back

If you remember he was suspended at the beginning of the year and coming off injury. As a result, he was way down on the depth chart and not getting any reps. By the time he was cleared, he still had to learn the offense and his responsibilities.

I think Bo missed 2 years... And Henry played Pop Warner comp

Power, speed, size, strength more so what I'm referring to

Pop Warner competition? Better check again. Yulee was in Class 4A, which in itself is a tough classification in Florida. But Yulee had to schedule non-region games against 5A, 6A, and 7A schools because 4A schools wanted no part of Henry.

Agree to disagree on the competition.

You're right Henry way more accomplished, regardless. My guess is Bo looks a lot like him when he gets the ball though... Time will tell.

Then you haven't checked the caliber of competition. I have. Charted his last season. Not going to do it again, but for starters the first game of his senior season was against 6A Gainesville, which went 14-1 on the season, losing only to Miami Central in the 2012 FHSAA Class 6A Football Championship. Henry rushed for 336 yards against Gainesville.

Looked up his schedule:

Gainseville - 14-1 (6A) (as mentioned, awesome team)
Potters House Charistian 1-7 (#56 in "freelance" district)
South Lake 4-5 (7A)
Jackson 3-7 (4A)
Glades Day 9-3 (2A)
Fernindina Beach 2-8 (4A)
First Coast 10-1 (7A) (Awesome team)
West Nassau 4-7 (4A)
Trinity Christian 9-2 (3A)
Hamilton County 2-8 (1A)
Taylor County 6-5 (4A)
Playoffs = 3 good 4A teams

I take back my pop warner comment. That's inaccurate. Had a couple really tough games mixed in with some average teams, tiny schools, and terrible teams. More challenging than I thought

Yeah, clearly you were mistaken, Stalker. That schedule there is clearly murderers row. lol

I actually did watch all of DH's film back in the day, and there definitely were some games where there was no one in the opposing D's secondary big enough to tackle DH one on one. Hell some of them looked like starved midgets grasping at his ankles, or flopping before impact in an effort of self preservation.

Thank you. Did you also notice that he did not pad his stats against the weaker teams? His lowest individual game totals were against those teams.

I agree with you on tge competition. Henry still broke a record that will most likely hold up for a while. He did it where no one else ever had, so it definitely means something. I think it's about dumb to compare yards as Bo was hurt in high school and that doesn't necessarily translate to college ability . Bo did something right to garner a five star ranking by scouting sites that are getting more and more efficient with their rankings. I'll leave my point at this, Bo can accomplish everything Henry did if he stays healthy. He has the size and ability to handle thirty carries and the punishment that comes with it. Doesn't hurt he has the speed and quick get up speed.

Yes, and look at those stats... pretty impressive, but I don't think DH's team even attempted a pass those last 3 games ;) When you carry the ball 40+ times a game in HS and you're as Big as DH was/is... you're going to rack up some stats.

I think Henry had a real disadvantage coming into the NCAA levels as he had NO idea how to block and read blitz packages. It was something that held him back the first two years. He did a GREAT job learning that and made some key blocks/pickups down the streatch in 2015. Let's remember, it takes a lot more than size and speed to be a good RB in the NCAA level... and in HS it Size and Speed can be the ONLY thing you need.

I have High Hopes for Bo, but only time will tell if he becomes a complete package, and I don't expect that straight out of the gate next year.... we'll see.
