I ran into a young girl this morning at a local coffee house downtown...17/18 yr. old, decked out in Bama gear...she had noticed my Alumni sticker in my window when I pulled up to the front door to run in real quick.

Anyway, for some strange reason she asked why on earth most of the USCjr fans were making little digs at her last night at a local bar. (I know, 17-18 out drinking in downtown Charleston, what a shock!)

Anyway, in an attempt to say something she might understand I used this analogy.

If she thought that 85-95% of the SEC fans were rooting for Bama to win the Sugar Bowl she also believed that Lindsey Lohan has signed up for the next sexual re-orientation class at the local LDS church. (went over her head, oh well)

I really don't care a lot about the outcome of the game. But, I wouldn't mind seeing OU put on a show. SO, in a sense, I'd guess I'm pulling for OU...or, is that against UF? ;scr

I was pretty solidly in the OU camp until an OU player (didn't catch his name) shot his mouth off about how the Big 12 is a much stringer league, that has the three best qbs (possibly), the three best TE (maybe), the three best WR, etc. when compared to the SEC. Because of the lack of meaningful defense Big 12 offenses are significantly over rated IMO.

Yeah, with South Carolina's performance (of lack of) vs. Iowa they had so much room to talk. Guess it made them feel a little better to see us fall.

Dominique Franks.

OU currently has the 98th ranked pass defense in the nation. Bad defense vs good offense? Combination of both?

I'm pretty sure it is bad D. Ole Miss shredded Texas Tech's D. Oregon had a field day versus Oklahoma State's D. Neither of them were offensive juggernauts during the season.

My mind says "Go with Florida and the SEC". My heart says "I respect Florida and like Tebow, but I can not stand Urban Meyer." Please Sonners, wipe that Sh*t eatin' grin off Meyers face!

Boomer Sooners!

When I entered this thread I didn't believe I'd see so many people saying Oklahoma.

I believe Florida is the better team, and I'd also prefer to see Florida win.

Wouldn't it be nice for an SEC team to win the national championship for the third year in a row?

Then that sets up for us to continue it in the years to come...to possibly 4 or 5 national championships in a row for the SEC.

I don't care if they are from the SEC, I hope Florida gets embarrassed by the Sooners. Like Terry said earlier, none of the other SEC team's fans root for us when we play out of conference, so why should we root for them? I have had auburn, tennessee, LSU, Georgia, and Florida fans that I work with give me hell this weak about the BAMA loss in the Sugar Bowl. All of them smiling and saying it was great to see the Tide fall. Screw Florida, I will not root for them just because they are an SEC team.

I'm glad to see some of you coming around. :)

I'm just hoping it's an offensive explosion and very entertaining. I'm not rooting for either team, but I do enjoy watching T squared play and wouldn't mind seeing him succeed.

I picked Florida, but I already have my pick em wrapped up because I'm that good. Money money money money, MONEEEEEEEY.
