🏈 Ohhh Lort! Shea Patterson headed to Meatchicken...

Cant stand teams raiding teams getting probation...with none based on issues from current players...like going to a funeral to pick up women...

Your comment is pretty off there, dont you think? You acknowledge its not the kids fault, yet dont like other teams "raiding" those same players? You're right, its not their fault. Which is why its only right those players get to go somewhere else that isn't under sanctions. And if Ole Miss doesnt like it, dont violate rules constantly.

I'd caution taking that defense as well. While it's "within the rules," it's certainly not a coincidence that Shea Patterson's brother was hired at the same school he's leaving.

Shea originally committed to Arizona--just so happens to be a school his brother Sean worked for. Shea was forecasted to go to LSU, a place Sean worked before Shea committed to Ole Miss. The day Shea committed to Ole Miss, Sean resigned from LSU and took at job at Ole Miss.

Shea may not have been named in the Ole Miss fiascos. But ... tell me his story reads pristine. :eyeroll: :smh:

The kids with their hand out are the reason for the season also, as much as Freeze. If there was a systematic process of buying these recruits and sustaining them, and now they get to be recruited and start over without penalty, that seems like the perfect crime. Perhaps just one lost bowl season would have been the real punishment for the rebels?

I seriously doubt it, but I do hope that Patterson and the gang aren't able to get those NCAA waivers on transfer.

They will get the waivers..no doubt...If I remember MS had a freshman QB thats back.....highly rated.. Ole miss in for a tough time ... for the next few years..
I still cant see a lost bowl game that big... no TV would be bigger..
Sometimes I think staying warm instead of Birmingham Bowl in December is more inviting..

Yeah, they will. They'll simply explain how Freeze and the staff misled them about the sanctions and they're a victim of circumstances. If they continue to lose core players along with the inability to reload for a while, the rebels could have that Ed Orgeron look once again.
