Was it just me or was that one of the worst crew to call a game?

it's a tough call between this crew and the one that called the Bama-PSU game

I have never seen such a corrupt group of officials! They did their very best trying to help the hogs win! My mom was even catching all the bad calls for Bama! When Ark was 2 yards short for a 1 st down and they spotted the ball enough to give it to them! I still can't believe how we fell apart in the first half...Ingram put the team on his shoulders today! He's a Bad Ass! Plain and Simple! Congrats M.Ingram, you have the Heart AND soul of an Elephant!

Did anyone see any bad calls against Arky? I've already heard some grumbling from them. The only bad ones I saw were against us.

Arkansas was blatantly holding on 54 offense plays in this game and were flagged for a holding penalty ONCE. That’s actually pretty good for a SEC crew. I’ve seen them do worse.

- Hold on the Tackle when he and Ingram blocked one of their ends to the ground, no hold.
- Personal foul on Lester when Arky player yanks him down by the helmet making it look like he slammed him out of bounds.
- horrid pass interference call on Lowery when the ball was badly uncatchable.
- absolutely awful block in the back call on Hanks when he blocked the LB on the SHOULDER on the Julio screen...

they were pretty bad.

The spots for Arky were so generous, I just did not know what to make of it.

I noticed a few generous spots and the PI call in the flat was weak. For that ball to be catchable that kid would have to be a hell of an athlete.

My mom and brother-in-law were complaining about the refs throughout the game. I wasn't paying close enough attention to criticize their calling as a whole but there were a few bad spots for Arkansas and against Bama's O as well.

everyone i was watching with said the same things, i told them at the end when they showed the one girl crying in the stands that it must have been one of the refs daughters

Those were the most blatant - I would only add that they were giving the Hogs VERY friendly spots and giving us very UN-friendly spots.

I was looking for bad calls against Bama, and I saw some. I didn't look so hard to see if there were bad calls against Arkansas.

Some of the spots were questionable. Especially the one that was reviewed and re-marked 2 yards beyond where he obviously stepped out of bounds, which gave the Hogs a first down. THAT was a bad call IMO. And there were a couple of others.

But, on that final drive when it was 3rd and 5, Julio caught the pass right at the first down marker and they gave him a fair spot. If they were trying to give the gave to Arkansas, that would have the time to do it.

All in all, I can't complain too much about the refs in this one.

Some horrible calls, in bad situations. I hate when we're forced into situations like that in the 1st place. Let's hope that's not what happens in S.Carolina in 2 weeks as well. The biggest problem I had with the refs was the spots on the ball! Any time Bama was close they'd sit it on the short side of the "imaginary" yellow line. When Arkansas was near the line it seemed like it was always placed on the 1st down side of the line. Either that line was way off, or they were shafting us on the spots. I'm not a fan that's going to sit here and say it was some sort of conspiracy against Bama, but...

it was the worst officiated game i've seen in a while. numerous bad spots, the PI call was ludicrous, Hanks was in good position for that block. in spite of that BAma wins!
