Prime example would be that WR that got drafted last year or the year before that ran something around a 4.28. Excellent straightline speed but his route running was shit and anyone with 2 iron skillets in their hands could catch better. The team is already trying to unload him.

Seeing so many get some sort of personal validation when the numbers came back with Murray was both sad and delightful. I can't recall seeing so many adopt an "I told you so" stance about his measurements to support their projections for how he'll do in the league. It was literally, "you mean he put up those numbers and he's taller than 5'10"?" I don't recall anyone questioning his numbers.
