🏈 Official: Harbaugh to Michigan (~$5m a year)

I don't have any clue what has gone on between the front office and Harbaugh, but seems like someone can't manage a relationship.

Harbaugh is known to be a pain to work with, basically not caring about anything but winning the game and being very vocal about anything that gets in the way of that. The GM (and owner too possibly) doesn't like that and seems to not care if anybody knows it. Pretty much everyone knows he won't be at San Francisco next year and has known that since the Spring.

Interesting item on page 12 of the contract.
"The Football Program shall be provided with a compensation fund of $4 million to $5 million reserved exclusively for assistant coaches, excluding the strength coach."

Never thought about the strength coach being a separate salary item outside the football program. Is it that way at Bama?
