Numbers To Know
118 - The number of points Alabama has beaten Ole Miss by in the last two season. It’s the first time an SEC school has won by 55+ points or more vs another conference team ever

0 - Number of incompletions Tua Tagovailoa has thrown on 3rd down this season.

574 - The number of passing yards Missouri’s defense gave to Purdue on Saturday.

3 - Number of Purdue WR’s with over 100 yards receiving vs. Missouri. Mizzou plays UGA at home this Saturday.

80.6 - Completion percentage of all UGA QB’s combined which leads the country.

2 - SEC Teams ranked in the Top 10 in the country in Total Offense. Alabama #1 and Mississippi St #9.

18 - The total number of penalties that were called in the Auburn-LSU game.

4 - Number of SEC Teams ranked in the AP Top 10.

7 - The number of Big 10 teams that lost to unranked teams in Week 3.

SEC fans in the know had to figure that our conference got an immediate upgrade this offseason with new head coaches. But the number of QBs in their prime and with the overwhelming talent in our region, a fool, which takes in the B1G, should understand that for the foreseeable future it's the same old SEC, SEC, SEC!

I'm not on board of using QB completion percentages as something to favor when UGA hasn't played a team with a defensive secondary, yet. UofSC. They were high on a lot of peoples upset list when they played UGA but don't let that fool you--they've given up 29 completions on 37 attempts.

Another example of why I don't take that game to mean a lot at this point in the season--sloppy, sloppy ball game.

The LSU vs Georgia game is quickly now shaping up as must-see TV. My wish is for ESPN to pick it up and give up Baton Rouge on a Saturday night. But CBS gets the first pick as always. I know CBS gets a doubleheader once a year, would they burn it here instead of waiting on Bama? I really doubt it.

The weeks for the DH's are selected before the season begins--and, the SEC gets two DH's each season. It's the third and 10th of November this year.

FWIW, CBS actually has three DH's this season--one is Notre Dame vs Navy the night of the "Cocktail party."
