💬 Now that our football season is over?

What are your plans for the upcoming months?
I plan to take me and the wife on a very long or short trip?
In June I will be doing my church project. If you are any where close to Fort McClellan come on the base we are working on a church. We will be stay at Sak middle school. Also this will problem be my last trip doing this.

So what you have going on in 2026? Let us all know?

And trying to find me a puppy....that ll keep me busy.

I am going to work through the end of May and then decide whether or not to retire again or go another year.

I usually don't make plans for...anything. I just do what I do when I do it.

Of course the majority of my time will be spent at work (ugh). But I'm sure I'll find something to keep my busy in my shop. My niece has already asked for me to make her a cabinet of some sort that sits on the floor (something to put stuff in, I suppose). So I need to think about how much wood that will take, what kind, the hardware, etc. But there's no time frame so it's just whenever.

Hang out in the keys until April, spend about 6 weeks in south Alabama, head up to the Dakotas and Yellowstone for the summer, south Louisiana till the end of October for a tuna trip then back to Bama and on down to the keys again. That is unless the good Lord has other plans for us.

Can barely afford the 3 kids i have, that's why no elk trip. I'm buying points every year in wyoming so hoping it'll be on the list one of these days. I ain't much on turkey hunting, rather be fishing during turkey season. Wife and I decided about 5 years ago to start traveling full time after seeing my folks work till retirement, move to taking care of my mom's mom, then get old before they got to do anything they'd planned. I haven't regretted it at all.

Good plan. Kind of the approach I'm taking. Went to South Dakota with my son the day after Thanksgiving. It was my first time ever going someone to hunt outside of Georgia and Alabama. Looking at Costa Rica next. Wanna catch me a roosterfish.

Watch basketball, girlfriend and I heard of a Bama bar here, so we were there yesterday for the game, so going to go back for basketball, was a great place. Girlfriend and I plan to do some traveling, Mexico, Italy (so she can meet my family), my kids and I are going to go to some NHL games and I’m taking them to a Nuggets game or two

Spend a ton of time with the kiddos. My wife and I were blessed to have twins. Being a dad has been incredible.

Other than work my ass off, I'll watch as much basketball as possible. Hopefully enjoy another Final Four run. Then enjoy the weather in Huntsville and play some golf. Go to some Trash Pandas games in Madison, then travel to Tuscaloosa to let Bama baseball disappoint me.

Will start some plants in a few weeks, get ready for spring gardening. Other than that, I will not be making any other plans.

Complain about rebounding. My Middle schoolers softball season and travel ball will be ramping up here shortly. Son is a rising senior punter /kicker so we will be hitting camps this spring and summer. Could get hectic.
