You're talking about a guy who is pretty spread out, investment wise, right?

Did his connection at UA involve him with the dealerships? In a way, yes. But, there's a guy who has been friends of the Saban's for years (dating back to LSU days) that was heavily involved in that as well. He happens to be a Bama fan, but the relationship started when Saban wasn't loved by anyone other than a Cajun'.

Home ownership? I'm not sure where you're going there. His house in Tuscaloosa is paid for and that happened through the booster programs at UA. Two years ago, maybe?

Saban does have to report all outside income on or before Feb 1st each season. By outside, I mean not from University related sources. He also has to submit his plans for the upcoming year on that date.

I'm not making light of any investment he possesses through his HC connections. I couldn't care less, literally. Is he part owner of the Mercedes dealership if he goes to Texas?
