-Saban said good attention to detail in practice this week.

-On Julio Jones: "I never said he couldn't play on Saturday." Said he'll be a game-time decision, but it sounds like he'll play.

-Saban finally confirmed what we've been telling you all week, Jones sustained the injury on his first reception against South Carolina when the defender ripped his helmet off.

-First audience question was from a woman from Australia.

"Where you from in Australia?"
"Sydney"
"We just recruited a player from Australia."
"Yeah! Jesse Williams"
"Yeah, I can't talk about him."

-The loss was not a surprise because everyone got satisfied winning. Also said South Carolina was the best team they've faced this season.

-Second segment kicked off with a question about how quickly players have healed (lots of credit to team doctors and trainers, etc), and a fan question about playing on the road.

"Our team is just not as mature as a team," he said in comparison to last year's team. "This is a really, really young team."

"It's no different than a young child. You crawl before you walk, you walk before you run." Added something about you often learn more when something goes wrong.

-Said his lake house in Georgia was vandalized after the USCe game.

-Saban was asked about the announcement to play Michigan in Dallas to open the 2012 season. Said he was approached by ESPN about a year ago to do it.

-FYI, it looks like Alabama will open the 2013 season in Atlanta as part of the celebration of the new College Football Hall of Fame, which will move from South Bend. No opponent yet, though.

-Saban was asked about all the different looks Houston Nutt teams have, and he talked again on how tough he makes it to prepare for:

"I don't know if anyone does a better job of featuring the players that he has."

-Nick suggested Nutt as his replacement when departing LSU for the Dolphins.

-Final question was about how much does Saban recruit during the season: "To be a good recruiter you have to recruit every day."

-Said he talked to eight players last night, talked to a couple on the way to the show and will call three more on the way home.

Kid from Aus must be a kicker. lol
Didn't know they even play American style foot ball in Oz. (FYI Austrailians often refer to it as OZ. i've got some flight sim buddies down there)

While I'm sure he could "kick" the ball, much like Herman Munster kicks a football. He will most likely be on the D line where he is projected.

I have a feeling Jesse will fit right in at Bama, provided he's used to wearing pads and a helmet:
