I don't think this is of any importance—as in a player who can dramatically change a roster—but I find it noteworthy since he's an SEC guy. He contributed to story lines...'bout it, wasn't it?

I got a note on him this morning ... one of those messages that read, " Cole."

Yep Bama was second in signature, honestly I think our transfers ended up being the reason he went elsewhere he didn't wanna be buried too much.

Goes to show, and I love to harp on this. Relationships are important and not just having them, but maintaining that open line of communication with family and the athlete.

I'm not surprised to see Matt Jones taking another shot at the program. He's been on a roll. I am a little surprised both of those guys are just ignoring Watkins. From my perspective he looks like a pretty good ball player.

When we started talking about coaches on the hot seat for last season Pope was one of the first. The younger generation of fans laugh at UK and 'Blue Blood' in the same sentence; in spite of its accuracy. Perceptions. That affects the blue haired.

Several days ago I saw a note going around suggesting half of the top portal classes didn't make the NCAA tournament. It hit me funny. I noticed/expected the bump in rankings with another commitment. That was enough to make me look.

247's portal rankings from last cycle: five of the top 15 did make the tournament this year. Michigan was #1 or #2 with St. Johns.
