🏈 Not sure which one i liked more yesterday

All three were pleasant. As much as I hate that Georgia fans will be pronouncing themselves national champs this week, watching a cocky Mizzou lose by three TDs was very satisfying. I hated Vandy lost to Northwestern, but as a whole the Big Ten are wholly unimpressive - Penn State, Purdue, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and Wisconsin (to Ore State!) all lost.

Oklahoma State or Auburn getting beat

I jumped back and forth between the UofSC game and the Auburn game yesterday but watched more of the later. It met my premonition; it was like watching two blind men play Chinese checkers.

I didn't watch any of the Okie State game, so I recall can't comment on what that game was like other than saying this: 97 points in a game tells me the defense for both teams didn't make the trip.

That said, I really can't point to the SEC game and say there was defense to be found there. I know I saw at least five times where Auburn defenders where trying desperately to strip the ball from the carrier while allowing him to gain an additional four or five yards.

In the end, the Auburn loss means more to me. Not because of any rivalry, but what it means for the next few weeks of football. I certainly don't expect lightening to strike twice when they play ULM Saturday, but stranger things have happened.

The biggest thing I drew from the weekend? When's the last time we had a 6-1 MSU team come in to Bryant Denny? We had a 6-2 Bulldog team come in for the game in 1980 where we were ranked #1 and we lost.

I had a Barner relative tell me, that when they recruited the Frazier kid, "he would be better than Cam Newton!" REALLY?!!! They have NO QB on that campus! They haven't improved in tackling either. Frazier must have been told his money was in the mail!
