I remember a car chase in San Diego back in the late 90s when I was living there. At the time, there was a part of 15 that went on to neighborhood streets that had red lights. The cop was in pursuit and the cop hit a random lady in her car, which they ultimately blamed on the person who started the police chase.
Doing this in a parade route...goodness. Glad it didn't turn out worse than it could have.
