Just wanted to share this, today Nico Johnson came into the store where my cousin works in Troy, AL (he went to school with the managers daughter) and of course my cousin flipped out because it was the first time she ever met a Bama player. Not only did Nico take the time to actually have a conversation with her, but took pictures with her, and sat down and signed autographs for our entire family. She said he was beyond cool and super humble, just wanted to share that with everybody. Nico is def. a good dude. RTR

Birdman, I grew up in Dothan so I'm right there with ya.

I can't claim the Wiregrass as my home, but I spent several years traveling around that area, with Dothan as the hub and Enterprise, Hartford, Elba, Troy, Brundidge, Louisville, Columbia , Headland, Abbevile and Ozark as a few of the spokes. I loved Conestoga Steak House and Crystal River Seafood, and playing cow pasture golf at the Olympia Spa. Good country, good people. Headland is the hottest place on earth - all the southern exposure without any benefit of a sea breeze. I've stood in a parking lot and my feet sunk/melted into the blacktop.

RTR,

Tim

A lot of my fraternity brothers were from Dothan, Andalusia, Enterprise and wiregrass area...... does that get me in the cool kid group? I also had to work there a good bit with my last job.
I also love how Dothan does their traffic lights from 10 pm to 6am.... They leave the main roads with flashing yellow lights and side roads witht he red lights... very smart and with my road rage i was able to greatly appreciate that.

Also, yeah nico kicks ass. Surprisingly he is not in Kipers 2012 top 5 ILBs but im sure that will change by mid-season because with his sure tackling ability, football smarts, and ability to run a complicated defensive scheme. Dudes gonna be a rockstar so watch your sisters closely

Nico won't go as highly as some of our other ILB's because he plays mostly in regular and we spend so much time in nickel and dime. I don't think he'll get the publicity coming out of college, but that second contract?
