There's a podcast, not sure what it's called, hosted by Channing Crowder (former UF LB), Ryan Clark (from ESPN and former LSU safety), and maybe a third guy. Anyway, Deion was on it, and I caught an emotional clip from it. Basically, Deion began to share something, which he admitted always chokes him up when he talks about it, that his "Prime" persona is a reaction to no family member ever attending his sporting events. I was shocked to hear him admit it because he's never struck me as the sort of person who would confess in public to such venerability. I share this because I think he still needs to grow from this hurt in his youth before ever being considered at Bama, as hinted in the article above. The glasses, hoodie, bling, self-promotional tactics, etc., just screams insecurity. And you can't be insecure and be a Head Coach at the elite football programs in the country.
