Lacy is supposed to be the fastest of the three. These three young men are physically copies of each other....................can you imagine having to tackle these guys with fresh legs going into the latter half of the 4th quarter? The other teams in the SEC will be lobbying for another "Saban Rule" to limit us to two RB's on any given day.

I have heard some folks liken Lacy's running style to Barry Sanders.

Are these 3 guys the reason that we're not in the hunt for the top RB's this year? I know we got Corey Grant from Opelika, but it's sad to see you-know-who in line for the nation's top 3. You see what a difference just one Trent Richardson made for us.

I just don't see how all three of these guys are going to thrive in this system. I know I'm throwing cold water on the party, so sorry...:frown:
I'd like to see all of them run all the time, so I hope it works. But someone is going to be underutilized. Two's company, three's a crowd. SEE Roy Upchurch. But, as long as everyone contributes in his or her very small ways, then it's what is asked for. Ingram is gone after 2010 anyway, and the reigns are handed over to Richardson, then Lacy. This is what RELOADING is all about.

Now, can we find a little balance on offense with a consistent passing game?

I look at it like this.
If Lacy turns out like we all think he will, that'll give us till at least 2012/20013 a great premier running back, since they all will be about a year apart in eligibility.

Lacy is a player that I have been dying to see on the field. Check out this highlight video of Lacy:

The runs at the 6:13 and 7:58 mark are sick.

You are forgetting about Jalston Fowlerf out of Vigor. 6'0" coming in at 240. The kid is a bowling ball...

This is what you are forgetting. Roy has been banged up quite a bit this year. So, the lack of playing time isn't all due to just Mark and Trent. Terry Grant has dealt with the same issue.

I know Roy isn't upset...heck, scored the first touchdown of the year and the last one of the regular season against Auburn.

That problem won't last long because #22 will only play one more year and #3 only has 2 more. Lacy would be the featured back his junior year (his coming out party I hope). Plus Eddie is one or two injuries away from being the workhorse. Ingram was beat up by the end of the year, thank God we had Trent.
